Cognition X Lab is based at Department of the Built Environment, College of Design and Engineering, National University of Singapore. The Lab aims to develop cognitive capabilities in construction/engineering project management by integrating data streams from Building Information Modeling (BIM), Internet of Things (IoT), sensors, supply chains, and workflows.

Our mission is to create an intelligent "project brain" using advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to support project teams in optimizing outcomes through material minimization, enhancing process intelligence, and enabling automated system actuation. Dedicated to drive sustainability and resilience, we emphasize lifecycle carbon reduction and adaptive, context-aware infrastructures and buildings by leveraing AI for systems.
